About assessment search

Our assessment database is a unique resource that contains over 20 years of research, over 14,000 assessment records from over 700 unique sources, on over 4,500 companies and brands. Our new 'Assessment search' feature lets you drill down according to your particular interest or need. Some examples of how this feature can be used:

• Care about the treatment of animals and want to avoid companies criticised for using animal testing? Search for "animal testing" and sort by type to quickly see the list of those companies to avoid.
• Want to see all the companies assessed in a particular report? Search the report's name ("Ethical Fashion Guide") to see them all in one place.
• Want to know what assessment sources are used to rate companies on a broader category, like Climate Change? Search for "climate change" and browse source filters.
• Additionally controversial issues (such as GM-free foods or Nanotechnology) are tagged as 'Info' meaning these assessment records don't affect a company's rating. However now, if you care about one of these issues, you can filter and find related companies by searching assessments.
