Price fixing in Europe
In 2014 German regulators imposed fines amounting to around 280 million euros on the three major German sugar manufacturers, including Pfeifer & Langen, for concluding anticompetitive agreements on sales areas, quotas and prices. The infringements involved the sale of both industrial and consumer sugar. They took place over several years up to the Bundeskartellamt's search in 2009 and in some cases date back to the mid '90s.

Founded in New Zealand in 1864, today they are New Zealand's largest snack foods company. Owned by Kraft for 30 years and Danone for 16. Acquired by Pacific Equity Partners in 2006, who sold the business to Universal Robina Corp in 2014. Products sold in more than 20 countries.
Tyrrells Potato Crisps Ltd

Founded in England in 2002, launched in Australia in July 2014, and acquired Yarra Valley Snack Foods in 2015 to establish a manufacturing base in Australia. After several ownership changes, Tyrrell's has been owned by Intersnack since May 2018.
Yarra Valley Snack Foods Pty Ltd

Australian owned and operated until 2015 when it was acquired by UK crisps company Tyrells. The Yarra Valley manufacturing site is the first place outside of the UK to make Tyrrells Crisps. Became part of Intersnack in 2018.
