Est 1908 in Cairo, Egpyt producing high quality business shirts, it had been dormant for many years until Nelson Mair working for Harrolds rediscovered it. With Harrolds owner brothers John and Theo Poukakis R&B was acquired in 2006. The Rhodes & Beckett head office relocated to Melbourne in 2006 where it was established as a luxury shirt brand. Acquired in 2012 by Germany's van Laack. In 2017 the company collapsed but was rescued by a management buyout backed by Hong Kong-based private equity firm AO Capital.
