For more than 10 years Kidstuff and Australian Mercy have partnered to support Kids' Ark, an organisation run by professional volunteers, employing local teachers and medical staff in East Timor. Kids Ark works with the poor and disadvantaged in the district of Hera in Timor Leste, developing projects in a number of fields including education, health, disabilities, sanitation and water reticulation, and micro finance co-ops. As needs are recognised by the local community, further projects are undertaken.
