Inhumane working environment
In 2015 reports came out about Konami's inhumane working environment. Employee movement is monitored by camera and developers are reassigned to menial jobs if they're considered no longer useful. Employees leaving the company offices during their lunch break are having their absences monitored with time cards. Those who stay out too long are having their names announced throughout the company. Access to the internet and personal emails is also restricted.
