On 30 October 2015, this company and LG Australia settled a legal suit out of court with Dyson Australia agreeing to remove specific advertising claims relating to the power of its V6 cordless vacuums. LG Australia initiated proceedings on 12 October 2015 in the Federal Court of Australia against Dyson Australia's marketing claims.

Workers rights in Malaysia
In 2022 a Channel 4 News investigation revealed labour abuses at a Dyson supplier in Malaysia including unsanitary and crowded accommodation, excessive working hours, and the constant threat of punishment and persecution by the factory management. More than a dozen workers making products and components for Dyson are taking legal action, accusing the company of negligence. Dyson sued Channel 4 News for libel but later dropped the case.
