Software security
Formerly known as Research In Motion, BlackBerry launched its first mobile device, an email pager, in 1999. Today they focus on software and hardware for industrial applications. In 2016 BlackBerry exited the smartphone market and licensed its brand to electronics giant TCL, but in 2020 TCL terminated the agreement, leaving no-one to manufacture BlackBerry phones.
