Involvement in gambling
In 2022 DAZN expanded into gambling and launched DAZN Bet. The sports betting and casino gambling service is registered in several European countries and was formed in partnership with online casino provider Pragmatic Solutions.
Information
Treating customers unfairly
In 2024 DAZN was sued by the German Federal Association of Consumer Organizations (VZBV) over the alleged use of non-transparent contract clauses that allowed DAZN to make excessive contractual changes, including price adjustments. The Munich I Regional Court largely agreed with the VZBV, upholding many of the complaints.
