Information
Supporting WWF's reforestation initiative
With support from BOH Plantations Sdn Bhd since 2005, 14,100 trees were replanted, restoring an area measuring about 5 hectares by July 2006. Replanting forest trees in degraded areas enriches 'wildlife corridors' that reconnect gaps in the forest, giving orang-utans and other animals greater mobility to feed, hunt or find mates over a wider area.
