This JAB Holdings controlled investor group owned D.E Master Blenders 1753 when it merged with Mondelez's coffee business in 2014 to create the world's largest 'pure play' coffee company, Jacobs Douwe Egberts, which was merged with Peet's in 2020 to create JDE Peet's.
